An informal visit is arranged to allow Pauline to introduce herself, view the garden, discuss your requirements and establish a budget.
Survey & Site Analysis
When the Terms of Engagement have been agreed, Pauline undertakes a detailed survey and site analysis. This involves taking measurements, establishing level changes, and making a general assessment of the site.
Design Concept Drawing
Pauline produces a scale drawing that shows all the main features of the design, according to the client brief and site analysis. At this stage ideas can be worked through and minor amendments made if necessary. When you are satisfied with the proposals, a more detailed plan is drawn up, which may include specifications and construction drawings.
Pauline recommends an appropriate landscape contractor or puts the project out to tender. This involves briefing each contractor on site and evaluating the separate quotes. Alternatively you may prefer to employ a landscaper of your choice. During the build of the garden it is advised that Pauline makes regular site visits to ensure that the project is running smoothly.
Pauline selects suitable plants that associate well and complement the overall design. A detailed planting plan is then developed. When you have approved the planting plan, Pauline sources and supplies the plants from a reputable nursery and if required, undertakes the planting.
