Plant Focus: Cercis canadensis ‘Forest Pansy’

…nature being romantic on a wild, wet, windy day in our garden! The beautiful Cercis canadensis ‘Forest Pansy’, otherwise known as the Eastern Red Bud, forms clusters of small pea like, pink flowers on silvery branches in early spring. Then beautiful heart shaped, burgundy-red leaves emerge and grow, eventually giving a brilliant display of reds, oranges and yellows in autumn … an absolute stunner!
